While watching the inauguration, my husband tried to get Marie to say “Obama.” What came out sounded something like “mmh-mama.” It’s kind of flattering that anything sounding remotely like “mama” automatically becomes a variation of that most primal word.

soooo tired

So we’re back. We spent a lovely week in The Hague, visiting my cousin, and then we attended a wedding in Hamburg. I would write more and tell y’all about it, but we’re all pretty tired over here. Marie got a tooth, started walking, turned one and got her first, real fever all in only 3 days time. So I’ll be back and writing as soon as we’ve rested up a bit.
